About Me - Scott Ogren, PE
I’m Scott Ogren, a licensed Professional Engineer in Oregon, Washington, and California, and the developer of ShearWallPro. I’ve worked on countless residential and commercial projects where accurate shear wall design was critical — and too often, existing tools slowed down the process.
I built ShearWallPro to solve this problem: a streamlined, reliable, engineer-tested tool that reduces manual effort while ensuring safety and compliance.
Alongside developing this software, I also run Ogren Engineering, my structural engineering practice, and CAD Master Coach, where I teach AutoCAD and design workflows. Together, these projects reflect my passion for both engineering precision and teaching clarity.
ShearWallPro is my way of giving back to the engineering community: a tool that saves time, reduces errors, and keeps projects moving forward.
